Mission
The Hardware Engineer designs, develops, and validates electronic hardware solutions for embedded and complex systems. They play a key role in transforming technical requirements into reliable and high-performance hardware architectures, ensuring that products meet functional, quality, safety, and regulatory standards across industries such as aerospace, defense, transportation, energy, and industrial automation.
Main Activities
- Analyze system requirements and define hardware specifications.
- Design and develop electronic circuits and embedded hardware architectures.
- Create and review schematics, hardware designs, and technical documentation.
- Develop and integrate digital logic solutions using FPGA and programmable devices when required.
- Perform simulations, verification, and hardware validation activities.
- Support system integration and testing on target platforms.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and electronics teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Technical Skills
- Digital and embedded electronics design.
- Hardware architecture and system design.
- FPGA and CPLD development.
- Hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog).
- Electronic schematic capture and PCB design principles.
- Simulation and synthesis tools (Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim, etc.).
