How T&S helped a leading international banking group rebuild its internal credit-risk rating system for non-retail counterparties on a modern React stack.
The NOVA project set out to build a new application replacing the existing rating systems for non-retail third parties (SMEs, large corporations, States and institutional clients) within Société Générale. The platform computes an internal credit-risk score representing each counterparty's probability of default.
A leading international banking group needed to consolidate multiple legacy rating and assessment systems for non-retail counterparties into a single, maintainable platform, while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
T&S operated within an Agile (Scrum) team and contributed across the full delivery cycle: analysis of existing tools, user interviews and joint studies with a UX/UI designer, drafting of functional specifications, execution of validation tests, Level 2 (L2) production support and user training.
4 major releases deployed in production since 2019, with intermediate deliveries enabling continuous improvement of the tool through additional features and bug fixes.
The engagement illustrates T&S's ability to modernise business-critical risk applications in a regulated banking environment while ensuring long-term maintainability and continuous delivery.
