Safety Engineer

Required Profile
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Functional Safety, System Safety, or RAMS Engineering
- Experience with risk analysis methods such as FMEA/FMECA and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Good knowledge of functional safety standards and regulated environments
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Professional level of English is a plus
Your Responsibilities
As a Safety Engineer, you will work within multidisciplinary teams on functional safety, reliability, and risk analysis activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Analyze functional safety requirements and help define safety strategies
- Work closely with Systems, Software, and Hardware teams to ensure safety requirements are met
- Perform safety and reliability analyses such as FMEA/FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Common Cause Analysis (CCA/CMA)
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including Safety Plans, PSSA, and SSA
- Ensure the traceability and consistency of safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Support system validation activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable safety standards
Technical Environment
Depending on the project, you may work with:
- Safety analyses (FMEA, FMECA, FTA, CCA/CMA)
- Reliability studies and risk analysis
- Safety tools (e.g., Reliability Workbench)
- Development methodologies (V-Model, IVVQ)
- Complex embedded, mechatronic, and industrial systems
