Mission
The Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, and optimizes mechanical systems and products throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept and design to industrialization and production. They ensure that solutions meet performance, quality, reliability, and manufacturability requirements while supporting innovation across industries such as manufacturing, transportation, energy, aerospace, and life sciences.
Main Activities
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into mechanical design solutions.
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Create 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Perform mechanical calculations, simulations, and structural analyses.
- Select materials and manufacturing processes based on project requirements.
- Support product validation, testing, and performance assessments.
- Contribute to industrialization activities and production readiness.
- Investigate non-conformities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including manufacturing, quality, systems, and project stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Mechanical design and product development.
- 3D CAD software (CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo).
- Mechanical calculations and finite element analysis (FEA/FEM).
- Technical drawings, GD&T, and ISO GPS standards.
- Materials engineering and manufacturing processes.
