Data Engineer

Required Profile
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python is preferred)
- Experience designing and building data pipelines
- Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and large-scale data processing is a plus
- Good understanding of data quality and data governance principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized, autonomous, and a strong team player
- Professional level of English is a plus
Your Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will help design, build, and improve modern data platforms and architectures.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions
- Analyze business and technical requirements to build the right data architecture
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and integrating data from multiple sources
- Build, optimize, and maintain data platforms while ensuring data quality, reliability, and availability
- Automate data workflows and contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes
- Work closely with Data, BI, Analytics, Data Science, DevOps, and Business teams to deliver data solutions that support business goals
Technical Environment
Depending on the project, you may work with:
- Programming languages: Python, SQL, Scala
- Data processing: Spark, PySpark
- ETL/ELT tools: Talend, Dataiku, Informatica, Azure Data Factory
- Data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics
- Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
- Orchestration: Airflow, Dagster
- Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
- Big Data: Hadoop ecosystem (depending on the project)
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
